Malaga is the capital of the same named province. To Malaga belong important towns like Marbella, Torremolinos, Ronda or Estepona as well as the Costa del Sol.

Costa del Sol, this name equals tourism, however, this is the south of Spain and therefore quality of life is higher than in the North. This is where people live their festivals with passion and lots of activities. The annual festivals reach from Christmas to the carneval, Easter week, the feria (which is the most important festivity during the year and lasts for approx. a week). Each province has an annual feria, in Malaga it is in August. This gives the tourist the possibility to participate in such a very Andalusian activity.
