With regards to sports, Malaga has some excellent football, volley-ball and basket-ball teams. Moreover, it can offer a large number of tennis clubs and golf courses.

The civic football grounds are managed by the Malaga Federation of Football. The installations contain to roofed sites, with a olympic size swimming pool, athletic runs, hockey camp on artificial turf, four paddle courts, collective dressing rooms, lounges and coffee shops. The Sport complex "La Mosca" has a football ground of artificial turf, dressing rooms and monitors. The football stadium La Rosaleda which can host 37.151 spectators, managed by the Malage C.F., The Sports Palace 'José Mª Martín Carpena', where usually the basket-ball team Unicaja plays. The Polysportive Centre Ciudad Jardín, with an area to play hand-ball, volley-ball and basket-ball and indoor football grounds. Two fitness studios, karate, rhytmic excercise and activities for the elderly, badminton and table tennis. Judo room. Three more sportscentres are worth mentioning: The polysports centre El Torcal, the polysports centre "La Trinidad" and the polysports centre Tiro de Pichón.
